Mauritius (French: L’île
Maurice) is a small, multi-cultural island in the Indian Ocean, east of
#Madagascar, Northeast of Reunion and southeast of
the #Seychelles. The Republic of Mauritius is constituted of the main
island of Mauritius and several outlying islands. The second largest island
is #Rodrigues with an area of 108 km (42 sq mi)
and situated 560 km (350 mi) to the east of Mauritius.
