Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake in Banff
National Park, 14 kilometers (8.7 m) outside the village of Lake
Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten
Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6,183 feet (1,885 m). The lake has
a surface area of 0.5 square kilometers. People come from all over the world to
visit Moraine Lake, the blue/green color of the lake is one your memory will
not soon forget after visiting. Rent a canoe or bring your runners and set out on
a hike to see Moraine from a bird’s eye view.
