Melchior Islands – The Venice of Antarctica

The #Melchior Islands are a group of many low, ice-covered islands lying near the center of Dallmann Bay in the Palmer Archipelago, #Antarctica. The Islands located between the much-larger #Anvers and #Brabant Islands well down the west side of the Antarctic Peninsula, are named for letters of the Greek alphabet: Alpha to Omega.
